Brief Profile: Dr. G. Manoj Kumar obtained Bachelors in Agricultural Engineering from College of Agricultural Engineering, Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University, (A.P), Master of Technology in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur in 1997 and Ph.D from TNAU (2011). He started his carrier as Assistant Agricultural Engineer at RARS, Jagitial, Karimnagar and worked as Assistant Professor (Agril. Engg.) at Agricultural College, Aswaraopet, Khammam, Associate Professor (Agril. Engg.) at College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar and Professor and Associate Dean, College of Agricultrual Engineering Sangareddy (T.S). His research interest are Hydrology, Irrigation and RS &GIS .

He has written 13 research papers, 12 practical manuals for B.Tech (Ag. Engg.) and many popular articles at state level. He is recipient of awards like GATE Scholarship, State Meritorious Teacher Award-2013, ISAE - Distinguished Service Award-2019 for Agricultural Engineering Profession Development. He is a member of several societies i.e Fellow in Institute of Engineers India, Life member in Indian Association of Soil and Water Conservation (IASWC), Soil Conservation Society of India (SCSI), Executive Council member and Secretary, SCSI-Hyderabad, Indian Society of Agricultural Engineering (ISAE), Indian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS), Indian Science Congress (ISC).
