Abstract:
Information sources are the various meansby which a piece of information is recorded for use byan individual. It is how a person is informed aboutsomething or knowledge is availed to someone or agroup of people. Patel et al., (1993) have suggestedthat in a developing country like India, disseminationof agricultural information and improved technologythrough the use of latest communication technology canplay a great role in agricultural development.Knowledge derived from formal research, or developedin other localities, can stimulate new thinking andpractices (Figueroa et al., 2002). So it is evident thatproper dissemination of information is highly necessaryfor agriculture development.
