    Brief Profile: Dr. Indrajeet Chaubey is currently working as Associate dean and director of International Programs in Agriculture , Purdue University. He has pursued his graduation in Agricultural Engineering from University of Allahabad, India in 1991, post graduation form University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in 1994 and Doctoral degree in Biosytems Engineering from Oklahma state University, Still Water during 1997.

    His research interests include Ecohydrology, solute and sediment transport at various spatial/temporal scales, development and assessment of best management practices to minimize nonpoint source pollution, spatial variability of natural processes that control hydrologic/water quality watershed response, effect of land use on sediment, nutrient and metal transport, interaction of terrestrial and aquatic processes affecting water quality and linking these processes to develop integrated watershed/water quality management technology, mathematical modeling of sediment, nutrients and metals at different spatial scales, and application of geographic information systems and remote sensing in developing decision support system for ecosystem management.

    He has guided 13 Ph.D and 17 post graduate students. He has handled more than 50 externally funded research projects as Principal and Co principal Investigator. He has published more than 135 research articles, 5 book chapters, 191 technical papers/ conference proceedings and 16 research reports. He is a recipient of several awards including Honorary Professor from Quighai Normal University (2017), ADS/ Hancor Soil and Water Engineering Award from American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (2014), Seed for Success Award from Purdue University (2011), Outstanding Engineer Award. 2006.
