Email Id: gsreedevi@pjtsau.edu.inBrief Profile:Dr.G.Sridevi is working as Principal Scientist (Ento.) and Head at AINP on Pesticide Residues (PJTSAU), Rajendranagar. She did her B.SC(Ag.) and M.Sc(Ag.) from ANGRAU, Rajendranagar and Ph.D in Agricultural Entomology majoring in Agricultural Toxicology from IARI, New Delhi. She is a recipient of four gold medals during her studies in post-graduation(M.Sc and Ph.D) for achieving highest OGPA. She joined service in 1998 and worked in Research as Cotton entomologist and Rice entomologist for about 7 years at ARS, Warangal. Subsequently, she taught the UG and PG students for about 13 years in subjects like Crop pests and their management, Sericulture, Apiculture and Lac Culture, Insect Pest Management, Host Plant Resistance and Insecticide Toxicology. During this period, she has guided 9 M.Sc(Ag.) and 1 Ph.D student in Entomology. She was involved in TELAgE Project for developing 10-15 min videos on crop pests in course No.Ento-331.
She has received University Meritorious Teacher award in 2010 and Telangana State Best Teacher Award in 2017. She worked as Co-PI in TMC-MMI project. Her publications include 42 research articles and a text book. She worked as editor for Indian Journal of Plant Protection from 2014-2016 and was awarded Certificate of Excellence in Reviewing by the Plant Protection Association of India She is a Life member and Fellow of Plant Protection Association of India and the Entomological Society of India.
